Brief : Take a dead, dying or defunct brand and bring it back to life by reevaluating its position and rebranding it for the new market or direction. Investigate the brand’s history and roots, to find the elements that made it great. Rebuild for the future on that foundation. Structure your positioning, research and the new brand into an expanded brand guideline book.
Solution : Working with Nokia as my brand I looked to its 148 year history, taking inspiration from its vital role in the development of Finnish and European infrastructure and manufacturing. The new Nokia is no longer a simple consumer technology manufacturer, instead it takes a page from its storied past to once more become a system-oriented company. The new Nokia collaborates with both state-owned and private sectors to provide comprehensive and seamlessly integrated tech solutions.
